Am thinking of what to bake when one of my buddies told me that her dad likes durians ! Yes ! Durian puffs will be great ! So search the internet, grab a recipe for durian cream, bought durians after work & forget to ask the uncle to help me to de-shell the durians for me !! Anyway it just adds the kick of making these puffs as i need to pry open all 3 durians which is quite fun & i managed to do it without pricking myself ! Only started baking at about 10pm after baby went to bed. So by the time i'm done, its 1.30am (see pic that shows clock ! no kidding !) Anyway night baking has always been very therapeutic & relaxing for me & most importantly i get best of both worlds where i get to spend time with my girl during her 'awake' times & enjoy my baking during her sleeping time.
These durian puffs might not be able to stay till sunday but Nee, promise to make your dad these durian puffs again soon !
