FOOD BLOG - My family & their specialities

Part of training for States life - is to learn more dishes. I must say I can still cook a decent meal, just running out of recipes that can last 1 week. Hee.. So as i continue my baking passion, i have to also learn more home cooked meals' recipes ! Done a simple chicken, fish cake porridge for family lunch today. I must say its pretty GOOD ! Yummy ! This will come in handy when i become a full time mum in States ! Tonight will be cooking braised pork belly for family. Can't wait !

Contradicting to my amateur skills of chinese cooking, the rest of my family is superb in cooking !
My grandma's five spice beancurd pork roll, rice dumplings, herbal duck soup...
My mum's sambal chilli, stir-fry vegetables & pork, curries ...
My dad's fried rice, mee hoon kueh soup..
& I'm proud to say my brother is an upcoming Chef as well ! Always knew he has inherited mum's talent. Braised pig's trotters, spare ribs soup.. though i've not tasted these dishes myself (cos he always cook when he's overseas ! With our mum, we don't have to cook for ourselves when we are at home !) But i remember when we are in primary school, he can already cook very delicious maggie mee with special sauce for both of us. Simple love it.

But... there's one thing... they can't bake for sure !!! Hahahaha....
