With the failure of getting chewy choco cookies, here's another attempt on the next night. Determined to bake some decent cookies. Armed with a recipe for "Big, Fat Chocolate chip cookies" which has 2241 review & 4.5 stars out of 5 stars, i can feel this time will be better. It took me 4 hours to finish baking all the batter into cookies ! Reason being these type of cookies will spread & aiming to make big fat cookies, i can only drop 6 spoons of batter on the silpat baking sheet in each round of baking. Gosh.. how i wish my ariston in-built oven can move with me when i shifted home !!! But to be fair to my tiny Delonghi 40 litre oven, it has served me well so far.
This batch of cookies did turned out better in terms of its chewiness ! However as i have substituted choco chips with WHITE chocolate chips instead, the cookies are too sweet for me ! But still i think its not too bad for a 1st attempt at chewy cookies ! In the end i filled 3 beautiful cookie jars as i looked at them with great satisfaction.
