After times of catering for Istana event (as a hotel caterer), its time i got invited to Istana as an invited guest !! The reception is a Thank you reception for Singapore GP & other govt agencies involved in creating the history of the Formula 1 World's first Night Race in Singapore.

Woo Hoooo !! I'm so damn excited, emptied my camera's memory card the night before (in case it runs out of memory space & in hope of also charging my colleagues if they require my service to capture the president & them), dressed up & to the Istana we go !
Call me a 'mountain tortise' but i've never been to the Istana even on public holidays when its an open house. But wow ! the nicely cut grass, the mini golf course, the big fat swans (yes really fat & white swans in a pond !) and wooow... the beautiful chandeliers... So there i am at the Istana, meeting the Mr & Mrs President as their invited guest. :)
