Just watched a documentary about a lady who is in her 3rd stage of cancer with cancer cells spreading to many other parts of her body. She has 2 beautiful kids age 5 & 3. It documented her fight against cancer & most importantly how she sees life & death. In her eyes, i see strong will to live, unbeatable determination & great motherly love for her kids. One of her lines really made me think how much one should cherish every moment "Her dream is to see her children grow up" Being a mother myself, i can feel her unwillingness to leave her children & leave this world. She asked from God 5 years, 5 years for her children to be better equipped with emotional strength to deal with her death. She prepared little items that will be given to her children at different stages of their lives so they can remember their mother & not feel left out. She consoled her friends who's going to watch her leave one day, instead of the other way round. She never once blame God or blame anyone for cancer, she rather be the one having the cancer cos she knows she can deal with the illness. There's a line which is inspiring as well "I will die when the day i die, not before that" . Though i do not know her personally, but she has certainly made a difference in my life today & tomorrow...
