Sat day time = have lunch with grandma & uncle vincent
Sat night time = bbq at daddy's friend's house
Sun day & night time = Auntie's Aizhen Big Day !! (see later posting)
She slept late for both nights but she definitely enjoy herself very much !

On Saturday 27 dec 08, we visited my mum at her kueh stall at AMK market for lunch. My dad is working, gosh..else he will bring her for all the coin rides & to show off Carrie to all his friends there. Anyway my Mum adores Baby Carrie equally much. She will fuss over little Carrie & keep feeding her ! Sometimes if i refuse to let Carrie eat something, she will keep saying "Can lah, can lah ! Little bit, little bit" Gosh.. no wonder i always end up being the 'evil' mum. My brother joined us for lunch at the market too, even though its SUPER HOT day. Its almost like sitting in an oven for lunch ! But to me, this family lunch is very cosy.
Especially after i got married, family luncheons and dinners become very important in my heart as i'm no longer staying at home with my parents. But i know they would like us to spend time with them despite the fact that they are very independent & we can easily be fooled into thinking they do not need us that time. And with my brother travelling so often now, these family times should be cherished. My guilt is towards my grandma whom i would also like to spend more time with, as i can see her aging & health deteriorating but with baby now, i seemed to be fighting with time. I have to try harder.
Anyway, back to the lunch. Nice short lunch. Oh, remind me, i need to tell my mum, i need to charge her for Baby Carrie's endorsement fees for her kueh stall (see pics below of my mum, carrie & her stall front) Hee Hee !! I'll be a rich mum !
