The last Chinese New Year 2008, Carrie is only about 5 months old, can't really 'enjoy' the occasion. This year is different ! She, being a 16 months baby now can enjoy the goodies !!! This of cos make her very happy ! We enjoyed the process of dressing her up too ! Hee...
The first day of CNY is simple for us.
* visit to temple & eat vegetarian lunch there
* visit one of my husband's uncle house
* go to my grandma place for dinner
* home
This is Baby carrie with her Ah-gong watching relatives playing basketball on one of the visits.
Dinner on 1st day of CNY is always at my grandma house. See the diligent chefs at work !
This is my grandma. She has certainly earned every right to do supervising only ! (she has worked so hard all her life for her kids)
Part of the feast. My mum cooked the yummy steamed melon with stuffed minced meat. She's an artist ! (the most bottom dish in pic)
Haha.. my dad occupying himself with Baby carrie, his little precious nowadays (threatening my position..hee..). Feeding her with keropok & jelly longan drink ! Gosh.. people just can't seem to resist feeding Carrie.
