Carrie 3rd day in school ! - 3 dec 09

Its Carrie's 3rd day in school. As she had nightmare yesterday night (she shouted "give me money !" I wonder what she dreamt of, must be vending machines !), so she woke up rather grouchy today. Refusing to change into her uniform. So today we were pretty late. Luckily, my father in law drove us to school again. The moment we hop off my father in law's taxi, Carrie started crying. She continued to sob and whine as we walked towards the school. (oh gosh) As expected, at the door, she clinged on to me, refused to loosen her arms. She cried and stretched her hands out to me as she got carried away by the teacher.

Again, I lingered around. And this time, i realised she stopped crying slightly faster than the last 2 days, that's a good sign, she is starting to accept school !

Today I want her to try a full day in school. But i went back to school close to their bathing time to see how she was doing. She's pretty good actually until she had to enter the bathroom to be bathe. Could hear her cry from the outside. But she stopped after she's done, haha..must be the hair washing part that made her cry.

After bathing, its chinese singing session and finally milk & nap time. Initially i'm very worried about the sleeping part as she will go into the sarong for her afternoon nap. But my worries were unfound, she laid down (though she did cry a little for her smelly pillow as the teacher placed it on the mattress instead of giving it to her so she thought she's not getting it) Phew.. luckily i packed her doll and smelly pillow to school today, it gave her a lot of comfort. She laid down, drank her milk and fell asleep. * sweet dreamz my little one * I blew a kiss to her and left.

I went back to school at about 5pm to fetch her. And she welcomed me with a big big smile. That's my girl ! When the teacher asked her if she wants to come to school tomorrow, she gave a nod of confirmation.

Tomorrow she will really be on her own as i need to go back to work. Though i still expect separation anxiety at the school entrance tomorrow, i know she will quickly adapt and enjoy herself. Woo... i look forward to her broad pretty smile when i fetch her after school tomorrow !!!

Secretly took some shots from outside the classroom at my cutie pie today. Enjoy !

Carrie is the one on the floor with colourful checked shorts.

A little boy (whose new to school as well) was crying, teacher asked Carrie to go over to ask him not to cry.

Carrie then wanted to cry herself but the teachers managed to stop that by sayang her.
