Menu for that day
1) Soup - pork / rock melon / tofu / spinach
This is the first time i cook rock melon in soup, hmm..maybe if i am using pork stock, the taste might be more flavourful? Can't really taste the rock melon in the soup and the rock melon became tasteless after cooking. Its certainly not my favourite soup and perhaps eating rock melon fresh as a fruit, you might get more nutrients out of it ! hahaha...
2) Omelette with cheese and ham
Seeing the so-so soup, i decided to add a yummy omelette for Carrie ! Woo.. what can go wrong with cheese & ham omelette ?! Plus Carrie loves 'egg egg' (she calls an egg 'egg egg') When the egg is done, i asked her to help me 'draw the egg' to give her a sense of participation and satisfaction. She got the ketchup packet from the fridge and I held her hands to 'draw' on the omelette. She loved it !
You know that day i cook ham omelette for yibin. And then we go and eat ham and cheese omelette at swenson on sunday. After that we asked him one question. "Which omelette is the nicest!!" Guess what he says: "Jiu mu". He says he likes to eat cheese eggs!!
