When do you listen to your kids and when do you not?

This week has been tough to get my little naughty elf to go to school.
Yesterday manage to get her out of the house but she cried at school
entrance and had to be pull away by teachers while I hear her cry even 
louder "I want mummy" *heart break* but did managed to walk away.

This morning is even tougher. Already got problem at home. She says 
she want to go coffee shop with grandma and hold on to her hand, 
refuse to step out of the house even with threats of her favourite 
school bag being thrown away. And being not a person with much 
patience, after counts of three, it's a hard slap on her buttocks and 
carry her away with her still crying away of cos.

Thought that will end the episode but no... My little one, on 
grandpa's cab, plead in her little sad voice (yes complete with tears 
swelling up in her eyes) "mummy I don't want to go school" she don't 
even want her favourite teacher. Her cries are so desperate that I 
cannot differentiate if it's for real reasons she didn't want to go 
school or if she just want to play at home. Confused, tired, I gave in 
with her promise that tomorrow she wil go to school (knowing she won't 
remember her promise tomorrow anyway) at her age I didn't want to 
force studies on her also.

Don't know if I'm right or wrong, maybe that's no right or wrong. But 
wish hubby is around, am sure he will be able to handle this little 
elf of his or help me make the 50/50 decision, go or not to go.

Spoke to hubby who helped make the decision ! Carrie gets friday day off from school !
