Let me post ZOO DAY first !
Carrie has been mentioning zoo for the longest time after Sentosa day sometime back. She will hint you by saying "妈咪，我们很久没有去zoo了hor?" So last sunday morning when she woke up, she mentioned it again. Then i turned my dagger eyes to my dear hubby while he was still in bed. Knowing he couldn't stand his little girl's pleading, yes ! we made the decision to go !
And coincidentally, we met my sister-in-law and family right after we went in ! They got their plead from their little boy on Saturday night ! Hahaha... really happy to see them, we are pretty close especially when Carrie and their lelder boy YB is only 1 year apart and they play together a lot and yes, fight a lot as well.. Sometimes my sister-in-law and I would plan activities together for our kids such as muffin baking, zoo days, sentosa trips, national day sandwich making, not to mention the many family trips and birthday celebrations ! :)
Back to zoo day reporting. First thing for the kids is to make our way to KidzWorld ! Its a fun area designed specially for kids with waterplay area, KFC, performance area, goats, rabbits, donkeys, merry-go-round, etc. An area i am now so familar with and i love the water slides too ! This time was Daddy's turn to get wet while i sat on the bench, enjoying the breeze and chilling out. With time on hand, i started to explore some special pics effects with my iphone and got some real nice pics !

I LOVED how this pic turns out. We were just done with waterplay and lunch at KFC. The kids planning where to go next. Loved the colours (except that Yibing's face turned out too dark) And how stylo Carrie looks ! Haha... she's got a side burn too ?!
By the way, hubby bought this very cool dora-the-explorer cap for her from US. So got taste right...!
With very limited time (as we need to rush to my parents' place and spent most time at waterplay), we skipped the animal exhibits and headed straight to elephant ride to end off the Zoo Day.
After the ride, on our way out, Carrie reminded us that we have yet to buy her an ice cream. Haha... she is so persistent on her planned itinerary that we promised in the morning. So there she had an over-priced B&J ice cream before we head back.
