Clarice started school @ 3 months 1 week old ! ~ Infant care

First day of school 01 August 2012.
 Clarice who just turned 3mths old has started to recognise faces and especially NEW faces. Even for my MIL whom Clarice has not met for just over a week, when carried over to face the 'stranger', she burst out crying. And crying LOUDLY. She will shut her eyes tight and just cry cry and cry with tears flowing down her round cheeks. Doesn't even calm her down when i carry her back in my arms as with her eyes tightly closed, she didnt see mama ! And with her loud cries, she couldn't hear mama ! It will take a while to calm her down. And usually after a while, she will recall the incident and start crying again. Quite cute though i feel bad for whoever carry her. Thats when i realised my little Clarice started to recognise people and know who's new on the block.

ok back to school story, so as you would have guessed the results? She cried when teacher bathe her. Earlier on when we reached school, the teacher played with her as I carried her hence she's all smiley. But its a different story when the teacher come face-to-face with her to prepare her for bath so closely that it invaded her safety zone and that set the alarm off. Haha i took a while to settle her.

Oh well, brought back memories of Carrie's first day in school even though they are of different age when they enter school.

Today is the 2nd day of school !
And little Clarice is one adaptable kid today ! Teacher say she keep smiling when brought in and keep talking (her coo's and woo's again). So cute ! During bath time, she cried a bit at the beginning when teacher took her clothes off, i guess she don't like being naked. haha.. and after that she's ok. She even fell asleep when teacher pat her to sleep. Though she still don't like feeding from milk bottle and hence drank very little, i think my little one still deserves a round of applause today ! Love you Clarice !
