Remember the previous blog about making a birthday cake for a little boy ? The day has come ! & the cake turned out beautiful. I use the same Chocolate Marvel Cake recipe, however added in oil so the cake doesn't turn out crumbly. I made chocolate buttercream to sandwich the 2 layers & covered the whole cake with chocolate ganache. Finally i decorated the top with strawberries & ferrero roche. Beautiful ! Think everybody likes it (well, at least they all finish their slice!) The most satisfying is when i asked the birthday boy if he likes the cake, he says its delicious ! Yahoooo !!! That makes it all worthwhile.
