Baking ! Baking ! Baking ! Actually for this weekend, i've planned to bake chocolate cupcakes but being down with a slight flu, i thought it might be too heaty. Hence with a slight change of plan, here's my 1st attempt at Chocolate Chips Muffins (Haha not that its any less heaty), a recipe i found in the Betty Crocker cookbook that YS had kindly lend it to me when she saw me drooling onto the book over a choco ganche receipe at her house that time.
Well, the recipe looks simple enough, it sums up into 3 main steps : (1) mix everything together (2) put them into muffins cups (3) Bake it ! Its indeed pretty fast, took me only 40 mins from wearing apron, taking the bowls out, measuring each item to pushing the trays into the oven ! But hmmm... well... the choco chips which are being exposed outside the batter are being overly melted hence making the whole muffin look kind of messy, taste wise, its a little too hard for muffins. Hahaha i wouldn't say its a success. Then again, the 2 babies in the house loved them ! Especially my little nephew-in-law, love him dearly ! I have a name for these muffins -- Picasso Choco Explosive Muffins !
