Just a little thought..

Initially I am toying with the thoughts of just me & hubby to go on a holiday ourselves with the objective of relaxation, especially when Japan is a destination i looked forward to, having watched too many 'Japan Hour'. There will be shopping, hot spring baths..food...woo..


But hubby couldn't bear to have Carrie out of his sight and so.. yes, Carrie is in. And hubby being 'Mr-Responsible-Family-Man' (well, thats what attracted me to him in the first place anyway) didn't want to leave his parents out as well as they have indeed helped us with Carrie for more than 2 years now. So..yes, parents in as well.

Oh well, I'm not complaining, hmm..maybe a little, i mean what kind of holiday is that ?!!!?? There are frustrations along the way as being the 'middle age' you have to take on the responsiblity of taking care of the older ones and the younger one. And of cos hubby can be quite irritating sometimes.. haha..well, we are afterall together cos opposites attract right..and yes, i already know he's short tempered to start with !

In the end, I've realised.. on trips like this, I have to change my thoughts (when you can't change the environment) & holiday objective if i want to be happy for the rest of the journey. When i managed to change my objective to "Bring family for holiday" (NOT self on holiday so expect to be tiring!), honestly i felt better along the way and enjoyed the trip as well. So ok lah, not too bad.. tiring holiday but yes, nice. * say cheeze *
